A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Håfa Adai Busy Bees Families!
Welcome back to school! I am very excited about the year ahead of us. Whether you will be dropping your child off at Chief Brodie Memorial Elementary School for the first day of Kindergarten or you are a veteran parent of a school-aged child, the start of a new school year is always a time filled with excitement.
Our focus is to provide each child with new challenges that will result in a rewarding school experience. We want your child to be happy and successful at Chief Brodie Memorial Elementary School, and you play a key role. That role is to continually show interest in, and to support your child. A child who knows his or her family is interested in and supports school programs and staff, will almost always enjoy greater success, and will have fewer problems in school.
I am inspired by the dedicated staff and families in this community, and look forward to getting to know all our team members well. CBMES is a school where students are supported and encouraged to grow in all areas- academically, socially and emotionally. I am fortunate to be a part of this learning community, and I speak on behalf of the entire faculty and staff when I say we are excited to have each of you as part of our school community. It takes all of us to help each and every child reach his/her potential, and we look forward to sharing in your child's learning experiences.
Working together, we will have a wonderful year filled with fun learning, lifelong relationships, and the joys of success and accomplishment. I look forward to meeting each of you, and to working with you and your children throughout the year. Here’s to a great school year!
Educationally yours,
Darlene C. Castro, Principal
